POA 2022 Calendar: Honoring the Helpers

The Protectors of Animals calendar is back for its second year! For 2022, we've been inspired by the Mr. Rogers quote, "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'"

We are fortunate to have an amazing group of helpers right here in our animal rescue community. Whether it's feeding feral cat colonies, creating safe places for our pets to gather and be social, helping to find lost pets, championing animal rights, or offering hearts and homes to foster pets in need, we have a network of helpers that are empathetic, compassionate, and tenacious in their devotion to helping local animals. POA feels privileged to be in such amazing company. We hope you'll find inspiration, comfort, and joy in the stories of the 12 helpers featured in this year's calendar, though we know there are countless other individuals and organizations making huge differences in the lives of animals both in Connecticut and worldwide. Thanks for all you do.

Calendars are $14 each including delivery. Donations are appreciated to cover printing and shipping costs and may be added when you review your order before checking out.

**All orders received by Wednesday, Dec. 15 will ship out by Friday, Dec. 17 (the USPS's deadline to receive in time for Christmas). Orders placed from Thursday, Dec. 16 onward will ship out within two business days.
