The phone constantly rings. Emails continuously arrive. And we answer! Every pet is guaranteed life, no matter where they come from, or what they need. And that need is staggering, and at times, overwhelming. But Protectors of Animals remains committed to improving the quality of life for the dogs and cats in our communities.
In 2018, 787 animals were placed in loving, safe homes. And so far this year, 588 animals got a second chance at a happy, healthy life. POA Spay!, our low-cost spay/neuter clinic, has performed 3,106 surgeries, further reducing the overpopulation of dogs and cats in the communities we serve. We are so proud of these accomplishments, but there is so much more to do!
